British Army Transferable Skills

Transferable skills

The advantage of service leavers and veterans are that they have had a diverse range of experience. From touring across the world to home-based training they have acquired a large skill set that they are able to transfer into civvy street once they have left the services. With a lot of personnel not knowing which area would suit their skills set and experience it is important to offer different channels that they are able to go through. Here we have collected the majority of the roles offered by the British Army. If your company has employees working within these roles it would be suitable for ex-military without further training.

The British Army training looks towards a holistic approach, for example, a mechanical technician will know how to work with a variety of vehicles and also have the licenses to drive them. This could mean they have also obtained their class 1 and/or class 2.
